This hat was fun, from a series of paintings with more of a child like concept. The way a child sees the world. How fish can feel so magical and wonderful. How a clear ocean can feel like awe. I loved painting this hat, and it turned out great. A bit about my process - I prime the hat like I would a canvas, paint and the seal the painting to be durable and water proof!
