This hat is extra special to me. I painted this from a place of memory and emotion. Horses have always been this spiritual part of me that have carried through life with me metaphorically. When I was little my horse, who felt deeply connected to my soul passed away, throughout life I felt like he kept comping back to me in different ways. My soul dog Maggi felt like a little bit of him. This hat is a metaphor to that, to beings reconnecting throughout many lifetimes or within the same lifetime. The magpie bird and the horse. I painted from my heart for this hat, truly and it sold as soon as I released it.
