Commissioned Art

Just the fact that someone asks me to paint something for them makes me feel like I'm living in a dream every day.

I love creating commissioned pieces, maybe even more than painting for myself. Painting something deeply personal for someone else allows me to step into their world for a little while and connect with them in a way that feels incredibly meaningful.

I'm often asked to paint dogs on hats, and with each commission I get to witness the love and bond between two beings I've never even met. As I paint, my brushes become part of that story. They learn about a relationship, a memory, or a life that means everything to someone else. By the time the piece is finished, I feel grateful to have played a small role in honoring that connection and creating something that can be treasured for years to come.

While pet portraits are a special part of what I do, I welcome commissions of all kinds—big or small. If you have an idea you'd like to bring to life, I'd love to hear from you.
